**Photo Advisory** Daley sworn in as state senator for the 31st District

LANSING, Mich. — State Sen. KevinDaley was sworn in for his first term as a state senator representing the 31st District on Wednesday during a ceremony at the state Capitol. Michigan Supreme Court Chief Justice Stephen J. Markman administered the oath of office.

Following the swearing-in ceremony, the 100th Legislature convened for its first day of business.

“The first week in office has been quite busy, but my staff and I have settled in and we are ready to get to work,” said Daley, R-Lum. “Michigan has been a tremendous success story in recent years, and I look forward to working with my newly elected colleagues to keep that momentum going.”
