Sen. Ruth Johnson comments on brownfield approval for former Summit Place Mall site

LANSING, Mich. — After the Michigan Strategic Fund approved a nearly $12.9 million brownfield tax capture to help redevelop a former Summit Place Mall site in Waterford Township, Sen. Ruth Johnson, R-Holly, issued the following statement:

“This is great news for the people of Waterford, Oakland County and the entire region.

“This redevelopment will breathe new life into a long-vacant and deteriorating property and bring new economic opportunities to the area.”
