Sen. Daley welcomes 26th District Army veteran to Capitol for Memorial Day observance

LANSING, Mich. — Sen. Kevin Daley, R-Lum, on Thursday welcomed retired U.S. Army Sgt. Adam VanSickle to the state Capitol as his special guests for the Senate’s 28th Annual Memorial Day Service to honor Michigan’s fallen service members.

A native of Frankenmuth and resident of Clio, VanSickle served in the Army from January 2010 to July 2016, including two years deployed to Afghanistan. He is the former post commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7542 in Birch Run and was joined during his visit to Lansing by his wife, Jade.
