Residents discuss key issues at Sen. Victory town hall meeting

LANSING, Mich. — Sen. Roger Victory hosted a town hall last week at the Georgetown Township Public Library. During the well-attended event, constituents received an update on the senator’s work in Lansing and raised a number of questions about issues in the district.

“I was grateful for the respectful crowd who brought forward important questions impacting our community,” said Victory, R-Hudsonville. “Being transparent and accessible is part of my role as a public servant, and this town hall event was a great way to connect with my constituents to discuss a number of state issues that are impacting them.

“I am proud to say that we were able to get through every single question provided by the audience.”

Constituents brought forward a number of questions about Michigan’s state budget, transportation and infrastructure, and other concerns important to members of the community.

Victory has regularly held public office hours and maintained accessibility for residents in his district. He held the town hall meeting as a part of his commitment to be transparent and accessible to his constituents.
