LANSING, Mich. — Sen. Roger Victory, R-Hudsonville, welcomed U.S. Army Capt. Nate VandenBosch to the state Capitol on Thursday as his special guest for the Michigan Senate’s 30th Annual Memorial Day Service, which honored Michigan’s fallen soldiers.
VandenBosch is the commander of Alpha Battery, 1-182nd Field Artillery Regiment of the Michigan Army National Guard, which is equipped with the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS), a long-range precision strike weapon system that fires rockets or missiles to provide a ground forces commander with highly mobile combat power.
