McBroom welcomes Horizons Alternative High School students to state Capitol

LANSING, Mich. — State Sen. Ed McBroom, R-Vulcan, welcomed five students and teacher Troy Jarvi from the Horizons Alternative High School in Calumet to Lansing on Wednesday.

The group made the trip to Lansing to join alternative education students from around the state in meeting with legislators. Students met with McBroom to discuss education-related issues and other state matters important to them.
