LANSING, Mich. — Sen. Mark Huizenga, R-Walker, issued the following statement in response to a shooting at a Catholic school in Minneapolis on Wednesday morning that killed at least two children and injured 17 others:
“As parents and grandparents, my wife and I are profoundly saddened by the tragic and senseless shooting at a Minnesota school.
“This act of evil has horrifically taken the lives of at least two children and forever impacted the lives of an entire community. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families during this difficult time.”
