The 98th Legislature presents an opportunity to continue moving Michigan forward, and I am proud to serve as Senate Majority Leader during this chapter in our state’s history.
After Michigan faced a decade of hard times, we helped our state overcome tough challenges and emerge ready and able to create a better future. Once again, we find ourselves at a crossroads. We can return to the failed policies of the past or keep improving Michigan for generations to come.
I look forward to sustaining our focus on making Michigan competitive for new jobs and investment, ensuring students get a quality education that prepares them for success and reducing the burden of government on Michigan families and small businesses.
