The 98th Legislature presents an opportunity to continue moving Michigan forward, and I am proud to serve as Senate Majority Leader during this chapter in our state’s history.
After Michigan faced a decade of hard times, we helped our state overcome tough challenges and emerge ready and able to create a better future. Once again, we find ourselves at a crossroads. We can return to the failed policies of the past or keep improving Michigan for generations to come.
I look forward to sustaining our focus on making Michigan competitive for new jobs and investment, ensuring students get a quality education that prepares them for success and reducing the burden of government on Michigan families and small businesses.
In the following pages, you will find individual messages from my fellow Senate Republicans as well as the priorities of our entire caucus. First among our priorities is keeping our commitment to do all we can to make Michigan a better place to live, work and raise a family.
