LANSING—Sen. Jim Stamas announced Monday that his staff will conduct office hours in Alpena and Oscoda on Monday, May 4. The office hours are open to residents to express their opinions or concerns about state government or to request assistance with a state issue.
The Alpena office hours will be held on from 11 a.m. to noon at the Alpena County George N. Fletcher Public Library, 211 North First Ave., Alpena.
The Oscoda office hours will be from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Robert J. Parks Library, 6010 North Skeel Ave., Oscoda Township.
“I encourage anyone who needs help or wants to express a viewpoint to stop by,” said Stamas, R-Midland. “My aim is to provide the best service possible for the hard-working people of the 36th District. My staff and I are excited about continuing a regular series of office hours throughout the district and hearing directly from constituents about state and pocketbook issues.”
Stamas represents the 36th Senate District, which includes Alcona, Alpena, Arenac, Gladwin, Iosco, Midland, Montmorency, Oscoda, Otsego and Presque Isle counties.
