LANSING– Getting ready to file your state tax forms and want to know if there are any changes this year? Need a copy of the forms?
To meet your needs, Sen. Judy Emmons of Sheridan is offering constituents in the 33rd Senate District counties of Clinton, Ionia, Montcalm and Isabella an excellent reference guide to assist with filling out and filing 2010 Michigan tax forms.
“By highlighting new laws that might affect Michigan residents, we are offering information that will take some of the concern out of filing tax returns, and hopefully make an often complicated process more user friendly,” Emmons said. “In addition, the guide also explains the different taxes, provides a calendar of important tax dates, lists locations providing assistance with tax questions, and also includes a set of state annual income tax forms.
“I trust that the information will be helpful and encourage constituents of the 33rd District to request a copy by mail or download it from my website.”
The taxpayer guide is available on Senator Emmons’ website; just click on the publications link and find the 2011 Tax Guide. If you don’t have Internet service or e-mail, just call Senator Emmons’ office at 517-373-3760 to request that a copy of the free 2011 Michigan Tax Guide be mailed to you; or make your request by mail to Sen.
