LANSING, Mich. — State Sen. Marty Knollenberg announced that his office will once again be hosting Senior Tribute Lunch and Health Expo.
The annual event is a one-stop experience that features a free lunch, a helpful and entertaining community program, a raffle and a vendor’s marketplace with over 60 vendors who will offer seniors information on useful products and services. The event will focus on health, physical activity, nutrition, community involvement, planning, entertainment, financial issues, quality care and more.
Nonprofit organizations are invited to attend and will be provided a booth at no cost.
“The purpose is to connect seniors with volunteer organizations and businesses that can provide products, services or volunteer opportunities that are important to them,” said Knollenberg, R-Troy. “Our seniors are respected members of this state and to every community in the 13th District. This expo serves as an opportunity to express our gratitude for all they have given us.”
The event is free and Knollenberg encourages all area seniors to attend at the following date, time and location:
