LANSING, Mich. — State Sen. Mike Nofs, R-Battle Creek, on Thursday welcomed cadets from the Michigan Youth Challenge Academy (MYCA) to the Michigan Senate for a special tribute during session.
Nofs, a longtime supporter of the MYCA, praised the cadets and encouraged his colleagues to learn more about the program. The MYCA is an academy for at-risk youth that focuses on physical, mental and moral development to build competitive skills and achieve lifelong success.
