LANSING— Sen. Darwin Booher, R-Evart, and Joan Jackson (left) joined Gov. Rick Snyder today as he signed Booher’s bill into law.
Public Act 16 of 2011 allocates $102 million in restricted funds from the Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund for natural resources improvement projects across the state.
Jackson was invited to the bill signing to represent Northport, whose waterfront project is receiving $500,000 towards improvements including a 15-foot wide promenade along the marina walkway.
