Richardville visits school in recognition of March is Reading Month
Senate Majority Leader Randy Richardville, R-Monroe, today visited Dundee Elementary School in Dundee to read to 300 students in recognition of “March is Reading Month.”
“Reading is a fundamental building block of long-term academic success,” said Richardville. “By encouraging young people to read, especially at the elementary school level, we help foster confidence and a love of learning from an early age.””
Richardville will read to 150 first graders and 150 third graders as part of his visit to Dundee Elementary School.
“March is Reading Month” bookmarks are available to schools and families who contact Richardville’s Lansing office toll free at 1-866-556-7917.
