Sen. Jansen unveils the Senate Reforms, Restructuring, and Reinventing Committee website

LANSING—State Sen. Mark C. Jansen unveiled the Senate Reforms, Restructuring, and Reinventing Committee website today during the panel’s weekly meeting.

“This website gives Michigan residents a voice in the reinvention of Michigan,” said Jansen, R-Gaines Township. “It offers individuals information on upcoming committee meetings and records of recent and past meetings, and it enables residents to suggest ways to reform and restructure state government.”

The committee website is MIReform.com. The site includes a suggestions page where Michigan residents can submit their ideas for reinventing Michigan. Topics of reform include everything from budget and corrections to taxes and health care.

“This really is a wonderful way for people across the state to get involved in changing the way we do business,” Jansen said. “We can’t just talk about change; we must get our hands dirty and work hard for it. I am eager to hear Michiganders’ great ideas for reform.”
