Sen. Randy Richardville, R-Monroe, speaks before a rally of hundreds of union workers on the steps of the state Capitol. Members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and several other building trades unions were in Lansing to rally for jobs after the governor’s recent decision to deny permits for building two new power plants in Michigan.
