Sen. Richardvilles monthly cable show features online learning discussion
LANSING - Sen. Randy Richardville’s monthly cable show, The Richardville Report, will discuss online learning and Michigan’s leading role in this educational field.
The show airs regularly each month on Monroe Public Access Cable Television, Channel 21, on Fridays at 5 p.m. and Saturdays at 9 a.m.
Guests for the August show include Robert Currie, executive director of Michigan Virtual University, and Naomi Norman, director of Assessment, Planning and Research for the Washtenaw Intermediate School District.
“Michigan was one of the first states to embrace this type of learning and it will be required curriculum for graduation beginning with the Class of 2011,” said Richardville, R-Monroe. “Online courses present a unique and convenient way for students to increase their knowledge and skills.”
Residents can also watch the show online at: http://www.youtube.com/SenRandyRichardville or http://www.MISenateGOP.com/webcasts.asp?District=17 beginning Aug. 1.
