Sen. Richardville welcomes Molded Materials Inc. to Saline
LANSING — Sen. Randy Richardville today welcomed Molded Materials Inc. to Saline as the company will receive a state tax credit valued at $420,388 over seven years for a business consolidation project.
“I am pleased that Molded Materials was selected as one of the recipients for the tax credit,” said Richardville, R-Monroe. “The company’s decision to relocate to Saline will provide economic growth opportunities for the surrounding area. I applaud Saline for its work to attract new businesses and jobs for residents.”
Molded Materials Inc. designs and manufactures tooling and molded components for the automotive, life sciences, defense and heavy truck industries. The business plans to invest $2.9 million to consolidate operations from Plymouth to a new facility in Saline.
The project is expected to create 69 jobs, including 29 directly by the company.
