Sen. Jansens jobs training bill signed into law
February 12, 2009 - Sen. Mark C. Jansen, R-Gaines Township, today joined the governor at the Capitol as she signed his legislation to help Michigan businesses train new workers. Public Act 359 of 2008 creates the Michigan New Jobs Training Program, which allows community colleges to work directly with employers creating jobs to design specialized training programs.
