Media Advisory: Sen. Richardville to kick-off Michigan Conservation Week at historic farmland in Pittsfield Township

WHAT: A press conference to kick-off the second annual Michigan Conservation Week. 

WHO: Sen. Randy Richardville, R-Monroe, and representatives of the Washtenaw Land Trust.

WHEN: Friday, April 18 at 2 p.m.

BRIEF: To help raise awareness of the importance of conservation, the state Senate has designated April 20-26 as Michigan Conservation Week.  This year, the Senate will focus on land preservation efforts in Michigan. 

Sen. Richardville will promote legislation that will help preserve more Michigan land and highlight local land preservation projects. 

*PLEASE NOTE:  Attendees should NOT park at the house.  They should park along the farm lane that is west of the house or along Morgan Road.
