HOUSE PASSES CASWELL BILL THAT PROTECTS SENIOR CITIZENS HOMESTEAD EXEMPTIONSThe Michigan House of Representatives unanimously passed Senate Bill 990, legislation introduced by Senator Bruce Caswell to ensure that senior citizens retain their personal residence exemption, commonly known as the homestead exemption, on their homes during a period when they reside in a nursing home or assisted living facility. |
