Sen. Hune and Rep. Vaupel welcome Hartland Rising Eagles Robotics Team to Michigan Senate

LANSING, Mich. — State Sen. Joe Hune, R-Hamburg, and Rep. Hank Vaupel, R-Fowlerville, welcomed the Hartland Rising Eagles Robotics Team to the Michigan Senate to receive a special tribute for their successful 2015-2016 championship winning season in the FIRST LEGO League.

The Rising Eagles will showcase their talents at the FIRST LEGO League World Festival in St. Louis, Missouri April 27 through 30, 2016. There were 453 teams in Michigan and 16,762 teams worldwide that participated this year. The Rising Eagles will be competing alongside 54 teams from North America and 53 teams from countries around the world.
