Sen. Booher to read to Suttons Bay Elementary students in celebration of Reading Month

WHAT:
Booher will read to Suttons Bay Elementary School first- and second-graders as part of “March is Reading Month” and then join them for their ice cream social.

WHEN and WHERE:
Friday, March 22
Suttons Bay Elementary School, 310 S. Elm St., Suttons Bay
2 to 3 p.m.

BRIEFING:
In honor of Reading Month, Booher will be reading to elementary school students throughout the month of March.

Every year, school children throughout Michigan celebrate “March is Reading Month.” The purpose is to highlight reading as a fun activity that children and parents can do together, while promoting literacy.
