LANSING, Mich.—State Sen. Darwin Booher will celebrate March is Reading Month on Friday by reading to students at elementary schools in Scottville and Frankfort.
“Reading is fundamental to a child’s future success,” said Booher, R-Evart. “It builds a strong foundation for a lifetime of learning and helping students develop a love of reading at an early age only increases their opportunity for achievement. I look forward to visiting with and reading to students in the 35th District.”
Sen. Booher’s March is Reading Month schedule is as follows:
March 6 at 10:30 a.m.
Scottville Elementary School
March 6 at 1:30 p.m.
Frankfort Elementary School
