LANSING, Mich. — Sen. John Proos last week stopped by the Cass County Fair in Cassopolis to talk with Southwest Michigan families and meet the next generation of farmers.
“The Cass County Fair has been going strong for more than 160 years — offering fun for the entire family,” said Proos, R-St. Joseph. “It is an annual summer tradition, where local kids can show off their hard work on projects and raising animals. It was a great week, and I would like to thank everyone who helped make it such a tremendous success.”
The fair was established in 1851 and is held each year at the Cass County Fairgrounds in Cassopolis. For more information visit www.mycasscountyfair.com.
